![]() So I bought my 2005 ST-L diesel with the 6speed manual box about 4years ago it only had 167k on it now it's done 340k and still going strong I service it every 10k but sometimes gets pushed out to 15k depending on how busy I am I was driving it Everyday to and from work then on trips away or 4wd trips on the weekend it never stopped till about 6months ago I bought a cheap little rice burner to go to and from work and keep the Pathy for weekend only just so I'm not racking up the Klms so quick just to go to work. Now it looks downright modern compared to the “boxy” Landcruiser, new Nissan V8 and others like it.īest car we have ever owned and looks like another 10 yrs to go. At the time car reviews said it was a “boxy” looking car. Also the rear seats lay down flat, enabling huge storage on travels, the only car that did this.īiggest mistake Nissan ever made stopping production of this model. We now tow a 19.5ft Crusader Caravan of up to 3T when loa. Tow rating has proved accurate with better payload than even the Landcruiser it turned out, and clearly out performs Prado’s. Recently had a dyno tune and the torque curve result even amazed the technician, displayed better than new specs. The car now just over 11 years old and going as good as new after 190,000km and a lot of travel and towing in WA, SA and Vic. We almost bought Prado of which would have been a big mistake. We bought the 2011 Nissan Ti550 V6 7 spd diesel Pathfinder new. ![]()
